The Bear- Olympic Style!

A HEALTHY 9-pax showed up to earn some medals at The Bear Olympics.
YHC rolled in a little hot and got some help from some friends setting up the venues. From there, we got after it!

Warm-a-rama:
5 Merkins/Groiners/Jump Squats (aka Decon Burpees)

The Thang:

THE THANG:
Mosey to the Speed Skating Rink

2 minutes of Speed Skating- Mosey the long sides, Bonnie Blairs on the curves

Next, move to “Curling”

1. Murder Bunny to the Cone
2. Pax 2- Sweep the path
3. Pax 3- Squats at the Circle
4. Pax 4- Mike Tysons (since we had 3 teams of 3, Mike Tysons happened at the end)
5. RIFLE CARRY to the start line
6. We switched the brooms since they were different sizes so each team got some different work.
7. The gold medalists got a reward of 10 Mike Tysons, Silver did 7, with Bronze doing 5 Mike Tysons

BIATHALON: Miraculously, the Speed Skating Rink became the Biathalon track.
1st round: Around the track x 3 laps, then Bolt 15 (5 upper squats, 5 lower squats, 5 full squats). Pax throws the football at the bucket.
Hit the bucket- 5 Merkins
IN the bucket- no penalty
MISS the bucket- 7 Burpees
Bonus throws hit some buckets and even had a couple IN the bucket, with some help!

2nd round was 2 laps and Bolt 21s
3rd round was 1 jailbreak lap and Bolt 24s

SLALOM
Head to the big steps by the cafeteria.
1. Ski Jump the steps
2. At the bottom- WMDs
3. Mosey the ramp
4. To the concrete seats for Bulgarian split squats and dips
2 rounds of slalom were enough, no knee injuries suffered during this event!

And finally, some team sport action. Hard to play ice hockey, so we settled for ultimate football.
Touchdown leads to the defense doing 3 burpees.
We started out with an ultimate offensive player, but then switched an extra defender. Plenty of burpees were had!

OUT OF TIME!

COT:
We counted, named, and prayed.
Pax had a lot of fun today, especially with great posting numbers!
Solid turnout at CarolinaBagel, missed you McRib, hope the washer/dryer situation gets rectified easily!
