A pax of 20 posted for a deep dive into the lexicon under the letter D.  After a brief warm up we mosey’d to the convention center for the thang.

Dips, Derkins, Dutch Skaters to the corner then Dirty Hookups and Donkey Kicks.  Duck and Weave to City Hall for Deconstructed Burpees (10 to 6) and Diamond Merkins, Dan Taylors to the next corner for Double Merkin Burpees and Dolly.  Duck and Run to the next corner to finish the Deconstructed Burpees (5 to 1) and Dive Bombers.  Lt Dan to the next corner for Dancing Bears.  Dutch Skate back to the convention center for a repeat of Dips and Derkins.  Pax choice back to the gazebo where we closed.  Good workout to coast into the weekend.

Sun’s out, gun’s out

A Pax of 12 posted in the gloom to exercise their 2nd amendment right to bare arms.  Skipping the usual warm up we started with a mosey to the tennis courts for brief stretching before continuing on to the shelter at #15 for 15 wide grip pull-ups, 25 merkins, 15 reverse grip chin-ups, 25 werkins, 15 close grip pull-ups, 25 ranger merkins, 40 air presses, 25 derkins, 25 diamond merkins and 20 Dive Bomber push ups.

Rinse and repeat

Mosey to the tennis courts for warm-down then back to the parking lot for Mary.

The pax is ready now to break out the F3 wife-beater t’s for hurricane clean-up.

18 posted for a round on the back 9 holes in the humid gloom.  We ran the fairways and did chest and back exercises at the Tee Boxes with a set of ab exercises mixed in the middle.  The cries of ‘Fartleg’ were squelched on hole #15 with a bear crawl for that fairway.  Other than about 6 of us I don’t think the pax knew enough of a Fartleg to make an accurate comparison, but I digress…

A 6-pax posted this morning for a re-run of a workout copied from Sandbagger.  Starting at the parking lot we ran a 3/4 speed sprint down club drive and turned right, then moseyed to #17 where we jumped on the cart path.  At #18 we sprinted the hill x3 then moseyed to the wall for 15 dips.  Rinse and repeat x 5.  or 6, or 7.

Boat Races

at 5:09 I got a call from Unicorn for a fill in Q.  I know it was 5:09 because my alarm goes off at 5:10.  Checked the radar and seeing no rain, headed out to lead a hearty group of 9 for a brief warm-up then to the thang.  We moseyed to the center of the drawbridge where we partnered for 100 Durkins, 150 Merkins and 200 Urkins in rounds of 25 while the partner rested by sprinting the draw, doing 10 squats and jogging back.  Finished with some monkey humpers then a final sprint off the bridge.  With time to spare we found the wall at the front of the Convention Center for dips, step-ups and a raccoon crawl then back to union point for Mary.
