YHC, anticipating a difficult weather day, planned to add to the discomfort by selecting 3 people for extra work throughout the beatdown. The Sky Q kept the difficult weather to points further south and YHC choose to spread the extra work amongst all Pax.

Following a brief discussion on the Bangalore torpedo (AKA Banagalore mine) and why it was so terrible to be the man selected to place the torpedo, the Pax was given the mission. The Pax performed multiple movements and exercises while the Bangalore seclectee had to perform the movements and exercises with the torpedo. YHC brought a 5 ft steel pole, 1 inch in diameter, about 10 pounds, to simulate a Bangalore torpedo. YHC had Pax assigned a random number which determined the order in which each man would have to carry the Bangalore.

The movements were:
Rucks were piled and a ruck pull through was completed while the Pax were in a plank position. After all rucks moved through the formation, each Pax crawled through the tunnel with Pax # 1 coming through last with the Bangalore. This same movement was repeated facing the opposite direction to work both arms in the pull through.

The next movement was a 20 yard Bear Crawl followed by 5 Merkins with Pax # 1 again lugging the Bangalore. The Pax then performed a rifle carry for 50 yards followed by 5 Ruck Press. Pax # 1 still with the Bangalore.

YHC called for Pax # 2 to step up to carry the Bangalore. Next Movement was right hand farmer carry for 50 yards followed by 5 Curls. This was followed by left hand farmer carry for 50 yards followed by 5 Upright Ruck Rows. The Pax then had to perform Baby Bjorn ruck carry followed by 5 Squats.

Pax # 2 turned the Banagalore over to Pax #3 as the Pax moved out for a 50 yard shuffle. The next movment was a 25 yard low Army crawl followed by a short ruck back to the starting point.

This was R&R for 1 round with Pax 4, 5 and 6 getting their turn in order.

With time running short, YHC audibled for just a Plank crawl through, Bear Crawl and a short ruck for the Pax while Pax #7 took his turn. Pax #8 then had the Bangalore while we perfomed a left & right hand carry followed by 5 Squats. Pax#9 then carried the Bangalore for a short ruck and the final 25 yard low Army crawl.
Hard Stop brought the morning to an end.

COT
Counted, named and prayed. YHC spoke about those times when we are called to do hard things in excess of what others are doing. What we should focus on is what we must do, not what others are doing. You may be the only 1 who can do it so have the appropriate attitude.
