Halloween Delight

4 HIMs braved the mist and wind to get ready for Halloween. Without any FNGs, we got it going with:

WARM O RAMA:
SSH
Squat to knee ups
Pass the ruck (aka the Seance)
Ruck staggered merkins
Ruck climbers
Ruck up and do a UPP lap, finishing on the Trent River side by the cones and some “pumpkins”!

THE THANG:
#1: PUMPKIN CHUNKIN’
Partner A: chunk the pumpkin (aka 53 pound sand kettlebell) down to cone 1 and back, with your ruck on
Partner B: bent over ruck rows

Rinse and repeat, go to cone 2, sans ruck, Partner B doing ruck swings

Short ruck to catch a breather

#2: CARRY THE CIDER:
The party is really pippin’ off now and pales of cider need to get out to the partner, so Pax #1 carries both 53# “pales” out to cone 3 and back, while the remaining pax squat in harmony

Next go ‘round, carry out to cone 4, more squats galore

Another brief ruck out and back to catch a breath

#3: SMASHING PUMPKINS
Partner A: 15 pumpkin smashes in position
Partner B: ruck shuffle out and back
The key: communicating reps so their shuffle finishes when pumpkins are all smashed!

Fortunately, there was time, so we rinsed and repeated, mixing in some ab work by the pumpkin photo house in between pumpkins and cider.

MARY:
