It’s 4th of July week, so it seemed like a good idea to have some Patriot Games and competition to spur the fun.
We were graced by 4 Carr Family members, henceforth known as THE FURNITURE EMPIRE (Ottoman, Stool, & Lay-Z-Boy, with special 2.0 guest Governer!).

Round 1:
2 Teams: “Team Bitcoin” vs. “The Furniture Empire”
Stations: 60# Sandbag thrown over the head, over and over, this out to a cone and back…this serves as the timer
2- Rucked up squats
3- Chest press the ruck
First team to finish is the winner- they do 10 rucked up merkins
Losers did 10 ruck-free burpees
Round 2: Torpedo throws of the 60# ruck
2- Baby Bjorn Lunges
3- Ruck Pull throughs
Round 3- Ruck as a group to the rip rap
Round 4- Partner up
Partner A: Standing chest press
Partner B: Shuffle to rip rap, grab 2 pieces, bring them back to partner A
Round 5-
Partner A- Lunge with rip rap curls at the end
Partner B- Ruck to rip rap, 10 overhead presses
Round 6- timed rip rap return, 45 seconds to get it all back, finished in 30 seconds!
Reward: Only 2 merkins!
Round 7- Ruck back to the Patriot games
Round 8-
1: 60# chest throws of Sandy
2: Rucked up lunges
3: Bent over rows
The clock hit 0610, so it was time for MARY:
1. “Flat hammers” like an American Hammer, but with a ruck, while your back is on the ground. Ouch!
2. World War I, sans ruck
3. V-Ups, with the Ruck
4. World War II, sans Ruck
5. Ruck Rolls (like a pull through, but rolling the ruck over to the other side)
6. World War IIIs, x 6, OYO, WITH the ruck!
We were cooked.
Counted, named and prayed/praised, especially for Bitcoin’s Mom returning home after hospitalization and rehab!
