Bad Hand did some good EH’ing (Emotional Headlocking!) and brought @TripleDogDare (aka Christian Ayestas) out for his virgin post.

THE THANG:
We headed over to the front of the Godnasium with pair of exercise dice.
On one, there were reps or times (ie 90 seconds) and on the other, exercises, like squats, walking lunges, merkins, and the wild card.
For the first few rounds, the wild card was 7 Burpees, mosey to the parking lot, and back.
We went through 6 rounds of each Pax rolling the dice, definitely got some good work in!

We then relocated to the field for modified version of “The World’s Toughest Mile”
In the classic version, this is:
400m Burpee Broad Jump
400m Walking Lunges
400m Bear Crawl
400m Run
BlackDog (F3 New Bern) and skidloader and I had spent some time talking about this beast last week.
At ao-the-refuge we modified down to a roughly 100m version, changing exercises at each corner. 2 laps and we were huffin’ & puffin’!

We kept it at the cones, but with 3 pax elected to do some timed ultimate frisbee. You could not pass back to the same pax you received it from, so this kept the frisbee moving.
A drop led to 5 merkins and a restart.
We had a slow start, but then got it moving. Plenty of bonus exercises for drops and finishing rounds, with time penalty work included.

We had some time left, so we headed back for more dice games, where we had a “No Wild Card” streak and got to wrap up early by a few minutes.

MARY:
We mixed in some pickle pointers, dolly, and a couple others before calling it!
