NEW AO SCHEDULE

First, my apologies for not sending this sooner.  Completely on me.

There’s been some recent discussion about reinvigorating our F3 region, starting with a March meeting where Pax gave their time to brainstorm how best to move forward.

There’s also an awesome group of Eastern North Carolina Nantans meeting regularly (“The Eastern Fleet”- Kinston, Greenville, Martin County, Cape Fear, etc.).  Part of those monthly conversations centered on how to make the most of the group and growing respective regions.

We’re going to make some tweaks to the AO schedule.  Consider this Phase I of growing and fortifying F3 New Bern.  Changes are effective Tuesday June 1st.

 

MONDAY: Fartlek @ New Bern Golf & Country Club (NBGCC)/Ruck It @ Union Point Park

TUESDAY: Bushwood @ NBGCC (previously Wednesdays)

Note: Dirty Bird @ Epiphany Global School- Trent Campus to be revived, stay tuned

WEDNESDAY: Black Ops Running/Rucking/Walking @ Meadows Family Park (if Pax participation increases and parking becomes a challenge, may relocate)

THURSDAY: The Point @ Union Point Park (previously Fridays)

FRIDAY: ***NEW Area of Operation (AO)***: Plyometrics/Yoga/Bands Workout @ Union Point Park- the plan is for this to be lower intensity, more inclusive, and open to modifications as we go

Note: In need of a Site Q for this new opportunity, but there are some initial plans to get things started.

SATURDAY: The Bear @ New Bern High School

SUNDAY: No AOs scheduled.

 

Right now, there isn’t a ton of change.  Bushwood and the Point moved days, new Friday AO downtown comes on board.
Let’s trial this for a few weeks and see what’s working, what’s not, and what should be added or deleted.

As we look to other regions for inspiration, F3 Kinston is KILLING IT.  In their first year they have FIFTEEN AOs and tons of guys coming out.  Be on the lookout for a phase II that emphasizes smaller workout groups and possibly venturing into new areas (Taberna, anyone?)

Mr. Roboto will update the website and spreadsheets to sign up to Q.  We will mention this at all of the workouts this week.
