Ruck It BackBlast – Leg Day

Leg Day (and heart/lungs) today as 4 Pax posted to an alternate AO – Pedestrian Bridge in James City.  35 steps on one side; 37 steps on the other side.  YHC arrived with his radio blasting the theme song for the day – AC/DC’s “For Those About to Ruck (We Salute You).”  Perfect.  Mission Statement and Disclaimer given and the Pax got started.

THE THANG

From our starting point, all Pax would go up, across and down, with one Pax carrying the 40lb sandbag.  Once at the other side, the sandbag Pax would perform 10 Sandbag Cleans, while remaining Pax would perform 5 Merkins then hold Plank until all 10 Sandbag Cleans were finished.  Back up, across and down with a repeat of the same 10 Sandbag Cleans and 5 Merkins/Plank Hold.  Once a complete cycle was done, the sandbag would be picked up by a new Pax, and the cycle would repeat.  The Pax carrying the sandbag could choose to use the steps or ramp for the altitude adjustment.  Completed 8 full cycles, so each Pax got to enjoy the sandbag for 2 total iterations.

With 1:15 to spare, Pax finished strong with 25 Ruck Thrusters, then we called it a morning.

Named, Announced (Sasquatch July 31, F3 ENC – Greenville) and Prayed.

Super morning.  Great work by the Pax.
