Ruck It!

7 HIMs including an FNG posted on a beautiful, windy morn at Union Pointe to Ruck It! After a quick and non-descript warm-up and hearty welcome of our FNG (Moonshine – still TBD), we headed out to find a slightly less windy area.

We settled at the corner of Middle and Pollock for a modification of Mr. Roboto’s ‘Anyone Can Do 2 Burpees’ treat from The Bear a few weeks back. Started at Pollock St with 3 Deep Squats, then rucked to the front door of First Baptist for 2 rucked-up Merkins, before returning to Pollock St to rinse & repeat the cycle for 10 minutes.

Upon completion, we took a circuitous route to the back of the History Center. There we spread out and repeated the 10 minute Squat & Merkin-thon up and down the steps. Pressed for time, we headed back to the flagpoles.

Announcement – Sat morn at Double Dippers house on Rhem Ave for the Cancellation-free Bridge Run. Ruck, 5k & 10k options. Fellowship to follow – maybe someone brings coffee, maybe someone brings power circles (donuts/bagels). Movement starts at 7:00. Double Dipper to correct all misinformation I am spewing.
