The Thang
YHC was inspired by turning 53 and the Iron Pax EMOM Challenge so the goal was 53 minutes of burpee/burpees every minute while completing the challenge exercises. We did vary from the original in 3 ways. First, YHC added a 1/5 mile mosey at the completion of each exercise. Second, we started with 1 burpee every minute for 20 minutes, then increased to 2 burpees for 20 minutes and then went to 3 burpees. Finally, when a pax completed their set, they continued to pump out reps to assist their fellow pax reach the goal.
Pax completed the following at a minimum:
50 hand release release merkins
100 leg raises
150 jump squats
200 big boy situps
250 lunges
1 mile mosey
96 burpees (thanks McRib and Trans for throwing a few reps or burpees my way!)
No time for Mary. Counted, named and prayed. Enjoyed coffeeteria after workout.
