A hearty Pax of 3 was not deterred by the morning’s gloom, a mixture of drizzle, breeze and cold. Not only were the Pax not deterred, they were, in fact, ready to test themselves in the elements. Our gathering spot was the Convention Center overflow parking lot. Hard Start at 0532.
Pax took the 5K Bridge Run route from start to finish. Little chilly on the bridge on the way back with the breeze & drizzle in our face. Once we got going, the K’s melted away under our feet as we maintained a very brisk pace of roughly 14:45 per mile (4.05 miles/hr). Shifted from Ruck Pace to Mosey for the home stretch (Beary the Hatchet through finish line at Convention Center Gazebo). Hard Stop 0618.
