The Point with No Point

A pax of 17 posted on a glorious Nov morn despite the lack of a preblast. As with not preparing a preblast, YHC failed to put together a workout, so the morning had no point – just winging it. As we were blocked to enter Union Point Park, we congregated in the overflow parking lot at the Convention Center – modify as needed. The Thang

  • Mosey to Union Point, stop at the bridge wall for a nice wall sit with each pax giving a 10 count Air Press.
  • Move down to the waterway promenade where we paired up. Plank until your turn to mosey to the gazebo while stopping at each bench for a 10 count Step Up with a Knee Raise.
  • Arrive at the gazebo and Plank for the 6.
  • 50 Heel Raises on the steps at the water.
  • Bear Crawl up the ramp or steps to the gazebo and grab a section of rail to call your own.
  • 5 Pull-Ups/Chin-ups OYO.
  • 10 Leg Raises off the rail.
  • Rinse & repeat.
  • Crawl Bear back down to the sidewalk.
  • Mosey back to the bridge while stopping at each bench for a 10 count Dip and Plank for the 6.
  • Lunge Walk under the bridge to the side of the Convention Center then mosey to the back to explore the recently opened back patio.
  • Pyro took over to lead us through Pyro Hops up the steps, then turning to Hop backwards down the patio until stopping to Al Gore for the 6.
  • Claimed a piece of rail for a quick 20 count of Irkins; then Shoulder Taps 4CICx20 with our feet on the handrail.
  • We then moseyed toward the hotel and cut between the buildings to enjoy a quick round of 30 Heel Raises OYO in the brick courtyard steps.
  • Continued the mosey to the TRAFFIC SIGNAL where we stopped for a round of Monkey Humpers 4CICx20.
  • Moseyed to the Raccoon Wall behind a very zippy Pyro “Lightenin’ Legs” Miller where I tried a new version of the Raccoon Wall that I called Rockette Raccoon. As you walked the wall, on each 4th ‘step’, you were to drop the left leg to the ground, then skip back on wall to drop the right leg to the ground, then continue.
  • I think it was II Fingers that felt we needed to even out the legs, we reversed direction back to the start.

  • Please see Plan B’s FB posts for information on making donations to social services to aid in  Christmas for children with foster families. Plan B – can you send out a pre-blast with the details?
  • I have contacted the Salvation Army to be the F3 Bell Ringers – a great way for us to serve our community with each other, our children, employees, etc. I think Lil’ Wayne suggested Burpees for money – an idea to explore. Something akin to performing monkeys on the street corner. So far, Morning is setting the date(s) of 12/11/20 & 12/18/20. Please text me your dates and times so I can start coordinating with Salvation Army for a location.
