During my travels this weekend, I ran across a nugget of goodness that I wanted to share. I think it is a good primer for all the new guys and a good reminder for the old-timers of F3 New Bern.
Podcast #324: How Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith Are the Cure for Sad Clown Syndrome
I also posted with F3 Waynesville this past Saturday. It was a good view into how other groups manage and do their AOs and pax involvement. During the COT, they also focused on their external activities. For a smaller F3 group, they are very active in their community with a coat drive, AOs at the local homeless shelter/halfway house, Salvation Army bell ringing and other stuff.
I have reached out to our local Salvation Army and they are very excited about the prospect of our organization being Bell Ringers during the holidays. Please text me at (252) 229-9225 and let me know potential dates that you and your families, co-workers, employees, etc. may be available. Bell Ringing takes place Mon-Sat at multiple locations. I will get locations once I see what days we can do.
Also, consider this post an emotional headlock to get you back out to post with the pax – see you Friday in the gloom!
Aye!
