A brisk and chilly morning greeted a Pax of 5 at our weekly rendition of Ruck It. As mentioned in the PreBlast (with tongue planted firmly in cheek), Bitcoin is now a runner, thanks to last Friday’s Beatdown at The Point. Thanks again, Pyro. Mission Statement and Disclaimer were recited, with special emphasis on F3 being held outdoors, hot or cold, rain or shine, calm or windy … well you get the picture.
First order of business was to generate a little body heat before we rucked up and got moving. Q demonstrated, and Pax performed 10 Ruck Thrusters. As noted by said Q, these reps would not count towards a predetermined amount to be performed in our near future. Pax rucked up and, at a rucking pace, headed under the bridge and back up to the bridge’s beginning. YHC set a 2 minute timer for Ruck Mosey (Shuffle) intervals (2 minutes of Mosey, 1 minute of standard rucking). Destination would be the sheltered front door area of the SECU.
Once the full SECU sidewalk was traversed, and Pax regathered at targeted front door, Pax deruckified and proceeded to perform Ruck Thrusters, 150x, OYO. Modify as necessary. Black Dog was a beast and finished just ahead of YHC (“This is not a race.”). Several Pax got extra credit for helping others get their required count. A little sweat was produced here; layers were removed. Pax then re-rucked and did Mosey intervals back over the bridge, where we encountered a nice headwind that kept the Pax from overheating.
Hard Stop @ 0615 with Count-O-Rama and Name-O-Rama. YHC offered prayer.
Great work by all Pax this morning.
