Blimps and Bricks

A hearty group of 7 posted on this warm early January morning.  A wise man once said, “I don’t mind being cold, I don’t mind being wet but I don’t want to be both”. Neither one applied as we were warm and fairly dry surprisingly.  Glad to have Cable and Chestnutt (Cable’s 2.0) from Greenville join us. No FNGs and all off we went.

THE THANG

  • Mosey to track for BLIMPS
    • Stacked BLIMPS (5 Burpees, 10 Lunges ea leg, 15 Imperial Walkers, 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jacks, 30 Squats) around track adding exercise each half lap starting with Burpees then Burpees + Lunges then Burpees + Lunges + IWs etc
  • Mosey to courtyard, partner up
    • Partner A/B: Peoples Chair curls/presses with bricks x 1 min ea then switch
    • Partner A/B: Shoulder extension with band 1 min ea arm  then switch
    • Partner A/B: Split squats/step ups on box 1 min ea then switch
    • Partner A/B: Calf raises/Mtn climbers 1 min ea then switch
    • Each partner group rotates through each exercise group
  • 11s
    • Dips/Amer Hammers
    • Lunge one way, bear crawl back
