Four men gathered today, mostly out of curiosity surrounding Double Dipper’s first Q. After a brief intro:
- SSH x 20 IC
- Karaokes–double direction
- High knees
- Butt kickers
We then rucked around downtown NB at a medium pace followed by a very short double time to the base of the bridge. Rucks off, we doubled the pleasure with some combo exercises, focusing on the correct form:
- Plank rows w/rocks x 10 each arm
- Lunge curls to the light pole
- Squat press w/calf raise x 20
One quick lap followed by rinse and repeat–modify as necessary. We finished with some Mary:
- WWII/Ruck Press
- American Hammers (anchoring base of palms to navel to focus on rotating torso, not just arms)
- Freddie Mercurys–modified w/3 sec hold and chin pointed to the sky.
