A Pax of 7 greeted this fine morning by posting for Ruck It, and ready to do hard things. Welcome back from IR, Cantore. Our inspiration was drawn from the weather, a combination of both wet and windy, (not sure where Cornfed gets his forecast, but I digress) so our routine consisted of various Ruckercise combinations. Mission Statement given and a reminder that F3 takes place rain or shine, hot or cold. YHC polled the Pax for the level of suck they wanted to embrace and the answer was a combination of both loud and clear — Embrace the Full Suck. With the appropriate level of both motivation and invigoration, we got started in the cool and wet gazebo.
- Squat with Ruck Curl, OMD, 25x
- Sit-Ups with Overhead Ruck Hold, OMU, 20x
- Ultra Short Ruck from Gazebo to grass – about 15 yards
- Bear Crawl with Ruck Drag – about 40 yards (This was amazing!)
- Ruck up and head down S. Front St. until Pax reaches RR tracks. Switch to Ruck on Front about halfway.
- Lunge Walk with Overhead Ruck Press Hold – about 40 yards (Shoulders melting and legs burning and back aching)
- Ruck up and around back side of Tryon Palace on Eden St. and stop roughly 35 yards short of Fleet St.
- Caterpillars remaining distance to Fleet St.
- Ruck Up for short walk on Eden St. and stop approx. 40 yards shy of Pollock St.
- Partner Up: Partner A Suitcase Carry 2 Rucks to Pollock St. and back, Partner B Sumo Squat; Flapjack
- Ruck Up and retrace route with stop at Convention Center Gazebo
- LSF with Ruck Chest Press, IC, 20x
- COT for NameORama and Prayer
- Hard Stop @ 0620, but Pax still had to Ruck back to Union Point Park – YHC needs to manage time and distance better.
Did not get a chance to do some other combinations. Will have to hold these until a later date. A big shout out to the Pax who willingly met and embraced The Suck head on. Excellent work!
