Hello Guvnah! 11 men showed up despite the call for cold and rainy weather. And they were rewarded with warmer temperatures and drier weather than expected in addition to a beatdown that YHC hopes they still appreciated Saturday morning.
Right at 0530, the pax jumped right into Warm-a-rama
Sun Gods x10 IC, forward and backward
Seal Jacks x20 IC
Mountain Climbers x10 IC
Carrot Pickers x10 IC, lots of satisfaction among the pax from this one.
Warmed up, we Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah’d down the promenade toward the bridge. Once at the wooden underpass, we took up an easy mosey over to the covered area at the Convention Center.
Pax partnered up to S.T.O.R.M in the direction of the Capitol. While Partner 1 was sprinting at about 80% down S. Front to Craven with mosey back, Partner 2 was performing the prescribed exercise until Partner 1 returned. Then Flap Jack. Exercises were:
S – Shoulder Taps
T – Toddler Squats
O – Overhead Presses
R – Russian Twists (American Hammers)
M – Merkins
From there we moved to the Convention Center wall. Sticking with our partners, we performed Bum Lookers (back extensions). Pax 1 leaned face down over the wall while Pax 2 held down his legs. What YHC should have said was Al Gore for the six, but what he said instead was People’s Chair, the Pax were trying to use the knee wall and that made it very difficult.
Staying at the wall, we did the following exercises.
Face Melters x20 IC, with the suggestion that we do that again, we did.
Face Melters x10 IC
Toe Melters x13 IC, and reverse x13 or 14 IC
Step Ups x20, both legs was 1
Reverse Lunges x20, both legs was 1
Air Presses x20
Irkins x20, then x10 SC
Derkins x10, then x8 SC
Squats x30 SC
We moseyed back to the wooden underpass and then Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah’d back down the promenade. It was much more difficult this time after all the leg work.
Back into the gazeebo for Mary:
LBCs x30
LSF x10
Freddie Mercurys x10
Annies x5 IC each hand.
Count-a-rama, name-a-rama, and a quick Amen and we were out of there.
