“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 (KJV) While no one laid down his life for another (well, perhaps Unicorn’s back counts a little) we each chose to spend the early morning hours on Valentine’s Day challenging each other and pushing ourselves.

Dynamic warm-ups:

SSH 4CIC x 20; Speed skaters x 20; High Knees x 30 sec; Butt Kickers x 30 sec; Upper body OYO

The Thang:

Since today is 2/14, we did two sets of 14s.(105 total reps each exercise)

First Set: Jump Squats and Tabletops

Partner work: Wheelbarrow shrugs x 28 (2×14=28–get it?); Leg toss x 28; Buddy drag/combat casualty rescue

Second Set: Lunges and Plank up/downs


One-legged air humpers x 14 each leg; V-ups x 28; Heels-to-heavens (aka reverse crunches) x 14; American hammers 4CIC x 14
