6 pax showed up this morning to ruck off the cold with a round of MLK JR. Here’s what that was.
Picked up Columbo on our exit from the Gazebo as he was exiting his truck. Pax rucked at a fast but comfortable pace to the train tracks on Hancock. Stop for:
Merkins x12 IC, down for 3 up on the count.
Went down Hancock to Queen and the old train station. Plank for the six.
Lunge Walk about 30 yards to the Stop Sign Railroad Crossing Sign.
Pax continued down Queen then down front with a stop at King for:
Kraken Burpees (basically hand release merkins at the bottom of the burpee – as in Release the Kraken) x10 OYO.
Next stop was at the first set of steps at the water front for:
Johnny Dramas x25, rest and repeat.
Resumed the ruck to the traffic circle and up Broad stopping at Craven for:
Ruck Presses (overhead) x30 SC.
Ruck to Pollock where Pax picked up the speed for an AFAP ruck to South Front. Speed walking rules in effect so that there was no running. McRib got them hips working for a strong 1st place finish. Al Gore for the six.
Squats x25 SC
Ruck back to the flags at Union Point for:
Irkins on the curb x12 SC, rest then x5, rest then x3
Ruck back to Gazebo where time was left for:
Ruck Press LSF x15 IC.
Finished with count off, Namarama and prayer. Need a Q for next Monday (and it can’t be Bitcoin).
Despite the wind in our face for what seemed to be from every direction, we got pretty warm. Thanks for showing up in the cold this morning, and coming along for the ride. It was an honor to lead.
