Bushwood BB: More sunshine……

A warmer weather forecast makes me want to breakdance, and apparently 20 other men including a FNG felt the same way this chilly morning.  On very little sleep, YHC stumbled through the mission statement/disclaimer, and jumped right into:

  • Heisman with a hold IC X 10
  • Helicopters IC X 10
  • Michael Phelps IC X 10
  • SSH IC X 10

Quick mosey to the tennis courts for:

THANG –  partner up, partner A does exercise at sideline, while partner B does exercise across both courts

Partner A                                                                                                            Partner B

  • Shoulder Taps                                                                                            Suicides X 2
  • Carolina Dry Docks                                                                                    Defensive Slides across/back
  • Squat Jumps                                                                                                Bear Crawl across/back
  • Imaginary Kettle bell swings (hip thrusters, a crowd favorite)   Crab walk across/back

Rinse, repeat with modification on Crawls for partner B (only to near sideline of far court)

Circle up at courts for Break Dancer – start in plank, move feet clockwise to front, pause (do one dip here), then swing feet around back to plank (do one Merkin here).  Increased to 7 dips/Merkins, switching to counter clockwise at 5

Session 1(at tennis courts)

  • 5 Burpees OYO
  • Squat Jacks IC X 15
  • Back bow crossovers IC X 20
  • Wide Merkins IC X 10
  • Russian Twists (slow) IC X 25
  • Dying Cockroaches IC X 50
  • LBC’s OYO – 25

Session 2 (at parking lot of NBGCC)

  • 5 Burpees OYO
