Welcome to Bearmuda

Thanks to the 24 who came out this morning for Bushwood.  As promised, it was T-shirt weather although humidity made things a little sticky.  After a quick lap, we got down to business:

Warm-a-Rama:

15 Side Straddle Hops IC

15 Mountain Climbers IC

10 Cotton Pickers IC

10 Sun Gods IC, forward and backward

15 Merkens IC

Downward Dog/Calf Stretches

Quad Stretches

Then it was time for The Thang:

BLIMPS: 5 Burpees, 20 lunges, 20 Imperial Walkers, 20 Merkens, 25 Plank Jacks and 30 Squats, followed by a lap.  Rinsed and Repeated times 3.

Bearmuda Triangle: As advertised, there was some Bear Crawl.  Three cones were set up in triangle shape in parking lot.  At 1st cone, 1 Burpee and Bear Crawl to 2nd cone; 2 Burpees and crawl to 3rd cone; 3 Burpees and Bear Crawl back to 1st.  Repeated with 2, 3 and 4 Burpees, then one more time with 1, 2 and 3 Burpees for a total of 3 circuits.  Happy to report that no Pax were lost in the Bearmuda Triangle.

Lerkens: A set of 4 leg exercises and 4 Merken variants.  20 Box Jumps, 20 Irkins, 20 Lunges, 20 Derkins, 20 Star Jacks, 20 Irkins, 20 Split Jacks, 20 Derkins.

Then we slow moseyed back to the circle for Mary:

20 American Hammers IC

20 Leg Raises IC

20 LBC;s single count

20 Heel Touches IC

100’s

And then we were done.  We closed with announcements and prayer.
