The Hills are Alive…

It turned out to be drier weather than expected this morning, but that didn’t keep YHC from getting soaked (Roboto assumes the Pax were just as wet).

Here’s how it happened:

Warm-a-rama:

  • We went right to a 10 with 10 Burpees, OYO
  • Take it down a notch with Quad and Calf Stretches, OYO
  • Windmills x10 IC
  • and at the request of the Pax, Sun Gods x10 IC forwards and reverse.

Mosey down under the Clubhouse for The Thang:

Split into 2 groups for 3 sets alternating between:

  • Ranger Merkins x8 OYO
  • Bodyweight Dips between the chairs x8 OYO
  • Side Straddle Hops x20 IC between each Merkin and Dip set while the switch occurred.

10 count was had.

Move to the Hill for a ladder routine.

  • Up hill x1           – Carolina Dry Docks x10
  • Up hill x2           – Jump Lunges x20
  • Up hill x3           – Werkins x30
  • Up hill x4           – Squats x40
  • Up hill x3           – Werkins x30
  • Up hill BW x2   – Jump Lunges x20
  • Up hill BW x1   – Carolina Dry Docks x10

Holy crap. Plank for 6. Nice long 10 count from Unicorn.

Naturally, it was time for further punishment in the form of Jack Webbs.

Staying at the bottom of the hill we performed the following.

  • Merkins x1 –> Air Presses x2
    • Increase reps by the multiple above, so round 2 was Merkins x2 – Air Presses x4, round 3 was Merkins x3 – Air Presses x6. YHC thinks we got to about 7 Merkins and 14 Airpresses but kind of lost count on the Airpresses. Thanks to Pax for keeping it real.
  • Burpees x1 –> Mountain Climber x2 IC
    • Just like above, we got to 5 Burpees and 10 Mountain Climbers IC (or if you’re 40 counting singles)

Disgusting.

Mosey back to the lot and circle up for Mary:

In keeping with the Jack Webb we did.

  • LSF x1 IC –> Freddy Mercurys x1 IC – Did we even get to 5 and 5? Help us Jeebus.
  • Next, we turned feet outwards and held at a 45 degree angle. YHC started around the circle for a little Duck, Duck, no Goose and ran the circle pressing each Pax legs down while they tried to keep them up. However, with rather poor instruction, Roboto called for Flanksteak to go and Flanksteak proceeded to chase down Roboto as if it were Duck, Duck, yes Goose. YHC modified instruction and Pax adjusted accordingly and went through until everyone had a lap.
  • That was a lot of legs up in the air time.

Done.

Welcome FNG Foreclosure. Glad you decided to join us.

Cochran on Q at the Point this Friday. Roboto on The Bear this Saturday. Harris Teeter for The Fartlek on Monday and looks like we got a VQ coming on Wednesday with O-face (and co-Q Flanksteak) – Money.
