A Pax of 21 HIMs posted in The Gloom this morning, although it was not as gloomy as in past weeks.  A cool, crisp morning greeted us as we began a new day.  YHC had prepped a morning of R&R for the Pax.  Mission Statement was given.  Mumble Chatter designee was given to Plan B.

Warmed up with Smurf Jacks, Sun gods – Karate Style, Sprinklers and Leg Stretches.  Then Blue Hawaiian Lap with 100 Toe Taps in middle.  Finished with Side Plank and Travoltas.

Elevator Merkins, One Leg Jump Squats, Boat/Canoe, Dancing Bear Merkins. Then Blue Hawaiian Lap with 50 Calf Raises in middle.  Finished with Side Plank and Travoltas.

A Birthday Beatdown

Thanks for the 20 who posted this morning.  My arms hurt just typing this….

We started with a Blue Hawaiian lap before 36 Cotton Pickers, 36 Side Saddle Hops, 36 Mountain Climbers.  We then moseyed to Garber’s parking lot.

We got to know Garber’s parking lot well.  We started with 36 Merkens before running to the next corner.  At each corner we did an exercise – typically totaling 36 reps.  The Q blacked out for 30 minutes and lost track of exactly what exercises were done – but if you can think of an exercise, we likely did 36 of them.

There were a lot of Merkens, Derkens, Zurchens, Burbens, etc. – anything that ended with – ens.  We did 36 Burpees, a lot of American Hammers, squats, squats with arm press… It was truly a full body workout – oh, and we also threw in some cardio for good measure.

We ended with a 3rd set of Monkey Humpers, 8 more Burpees and 007 led by the Mayor.

A big thanks to all who came out.  I hope it was a good workout and one that will leave a good, tired feeling throughout the day.  I promise to Q again before my next birthday.

Mosey to the track for alternating paired workout (pass the ruck after each paired exercise with non-ruck exercise performed until six is in): 20 overhead presses x full depth squats, 20 ruck rows x shoulder taps, 10 front ruck raise x bridge, 20 ruck twists x low hop squat,  x 10 ruck clean and press x big boy sit ups

Run and lap with rucks and repeat partnered workout

We moseyed to the parking lot at the Garber Ministry center for Hindenburg BLIMPS w/Modification.
We exercised at each of the 4 corners and ran in between. The exercises were as follows:

20 Plank Jacks + 53 Calf Raises
30 Squats + 53 Calf Raises

We moseyed back to the planters at the club for 25 Dips IC before making our way back to the parking lot.
